Welcome to our service this morning. Today our service will be taken by our locum minister the Rev J Cubie Monday Club will be on Monday Nov 8th in the Community Hall at 2.15pm. The speaker is Ian Archibald and the subject ‘Shipwrecks and Protected Wrecks in the Forth’. All over 40 are most welcome. Tuesday Coffee, Cake and Conversation in the Town Hall from 10am. Chatbite. In the Kirk Hall, Wednesday 10 am–12 noon Prayer group. Wednesday in the church from 10.15 am. Kingsbarns Church coffee morning, Thursday from 10 am. Kingsbarns Race Night Nov 12th at 8pm in the Memorial Hall. To raise money for the hall fund. Crail Chrysanthemum and Vegetable Show Sat Nov 13th in the Community Hall at 1.30pm Sunday School will begin in the church Hall at 10.55 on the 14th November for the children who are not involved with the uniformed organisations. For the benefit of parents/leaders attending this special service, the Sunday School will be happy to run a Crèche alongside the usual lesson and activities
Pamela Thompson and family wish to say thank you to everyone in Crail and Kingsbarns and to all in Crail and Kingsbarns Churches for all the friendship and support you have given us over so many years and especially during the weeks of Peter’s illness. During the past week we have been greatly comforted by the many lovely cards and letters we have received. Thank you also for your attendance at the Thanksgiving Service on Monday. We all felt very greatly blessed.
The East Neuk Committee of Macmillan Cancer Support will be holding a Coffee Morning in the Church Hall, James Street, Pittenweem on Wednesday 10th November from 10.00am. Crail Museum lecture “The Beginning of ‘The Few’” Presented by Fl Lt Richard MacDonald 7.30pm British Legion Hall Tuesday 9th November. The first air combat action of WWII over Britain resulting in enemy planes shot down into the sea off Crail, by spitfires of 602 Squadron and 603 Squadron.
Congregational Board and Kirk Session meet in the Kirk Hall on Monday 15 November at 7.30pm
Next week is Remembrance Sunday and the Service will commence at 10.50am at the Church gates.

Anstruther Philharmonic Society will perform Handel’s ‘Messiah’ on Saturday December 4th at 7.00 pm in Cellardyke Parish Church. Admission £8.Tickets available from Marjorie Richardson or any choir member. "Songs for the Season" with Bruce Davis, in Cellardyke Parish Church, Saturday 11th December at 7.30 pm. A happy evening of Christmas songs and carols. Admission is by donation at the door.
